Feels like a graduation

In Santiago, we went to the Pilgrims Office to receive our "Compostela" by showing our Credencial or Camino Passport.  It is a piece of paper written in Latin with our Latin name on it.

I am raising up hand here on this photo with my Compostela in hand.

These are only a few of fellow pilgrims I had the privilege of walking with.

Just like graduation, it was bittersweet to finally arrive in Santiago and having to say goodbye to people we spent much time with for the last 33 days.

  2. Hi there,

the (web) world is so small!
We did a short break at the same bar as you did. This was in a small village, which was only a short walk away from Villar de Mazarife. We (two girls with blond and brown hair) have been sitting on the next table. I think there was also the guy with the straw hat, who is on the second picture.

    Greetings from Germany,
    Sylvia
