We weren´t necessarily planning to stay in Astorga as we were feeling good, not health or medical issues bothering us and the weather was not too hot. But as we entered Astorga, we were greeted with tons of people on the streets, loud noises, lots of activity. It was a Tuesday and it meant open air market day. The town was so lively that we felt compelled to stop there. We also found out that this town was known for its chocolates and pastries. We couldn´t resist.
