Today, we walked into the region of Galicia, the final one of the Camino. The local language here is Gallego, which sounds like a cross between Portuguese and Castillian Spanish. You can easily tell the local accent apart.
The landscape looks a little bit like British Columbia, Canada.
This is reportedly the oldest church along the entire Camino de Santiago.
This tiny church was packed for Mass.
Galicia boasts of many beautiful and natural sights. The weather is a bit humid and unpredictable. Sunny and clear skies one moment, cloudy and chilly in another.
We often bump into 4-legged pilgrims along the Camino. :)
The Albergues in Galicia are very clean as they are regulated by the local Xunta (municipal government). Very cheap too at 5€ per night.
Our breakfast the following morning before we take off to the next town.
